Orders are clinical records that include prescriptions, pathology and imaging requests. Halaxy creates orders from clinical notes linked to a patient’s profile and appointments. This allows you to easily see all these records in a patient’s clinical history.
To create an order:

Navigate to any clinical note and click Add Order.

In the dropdown, select Imaging or Pathology as required and click Create.

In the order note, click Edit and enter a Laboratory name. Laboratories are any organisation you have set up with the Organisation Type set to Laboratory. If the Lab is new, click to add the lab as a new organisation and complete the details for the lab. Click Submit to save and create the order.

Click Add a Test and complete the information requested in the pop-up, then click Save.

To print the order, click the blue arrow and select Publish & Print. The order must be published before it can be printed.

You can also attach any results that have been returned by clicking Add a File.
Note
It is important that you MUST save and publish the order you created before you can print or send it to the organization or the patient.
Note
Saving or Publishing the order you created will NOT send it to your patient or other specialist automaticaly. You need to MANUALLY send it via email. See SHARE YOUR CLINICAL NOTES for reference.
